Q: How do you keep Eucalyptus gunnii or Cider Gum tree in it's juvenile foliage?
Is there a specific height the tree must stay so that it does not mature? If so, what is it?

A: If maintained as a shrub the juvenile foliage will be retained: "There is another reason for pruning Eucalyptus gunnii, however, and that is that it has two types of foliage. Eventually the tree starts to bear adult foliage with long lance shaped greener leaves, but when it is young the leaves are rounder and a grey/blue colour which is quite attractive and often used in flower arrangements. By pruning when the plant is maybe 6in (15.2cm) high down to about 2in (5cm) or 3in (7.6cm) high you will retain the juvenile more attractive foliage but, of course, the plant will never become very large - it really depends which leaf type you prefer." Q: Koala problem, what should I do?
There is a new koala on the backyard eucalyptus; she relocated here from south to be with her husband, and she can't acclimatize. She can't find any Manna Gum trees here, and Grey Gum is giving her indigestion. She sits on the tree in a fetal position, rocking to and fro, clutching at her tummy, ill and unhappy, and her husband does not support her at all but uses her for sex and chores. She'd like to make this relationship work, but too ill to continue. No can she go back home, because she sold her freehold on eucalyptus back there and used it to buy a new one in the new area, on which she and her husband now live. It's so depressive to witness her. How can I help her, what should I do?

A: Give her a roll of Quick-Eze for her indigestion and start planting some Manna Gums. You could also put her in touch with a good divorce lawyer. She needs one.

Q: What makes the Eucalyptus tree (gum tree) unique?
I know that they're unique because there isn't anything else like it, but what features does it have that enable it to be classified as unique? For example, kangaroos are unique because it is the only large animal to use hopping as a form of movement. So what feature/s does the gum tree have that make it unique? Please help, I am having difficulty finding this for an assignment, I am only asking this as a last resort. 30 seconds ago - 4 days
