A: I have bad news for you and I have slightly less bad news. Yes I know that ephedra is the greatest thing because I have taken it and swear by it's effectiveness but the FDA decided to indefinitely ban anything with traces of ephedra in it. There are some companies online who say they are getting rid of the last of their stock of ephedra based products such as this.

No it's not trimspa and i'm sure that trimspa was among the first to be bought up but there you go anyway just in case you would want to settle for anything else. Plus there are conversations on numerous weight loss sites that bronchodilators and respiratory meds can actually be used as a less effective replacement because they also contain Ephedrine which was originally used as an active ingredient for asthma treatments anyway. Products such as vasopro and the like do contain ephedrine ( I know this for a fact ) and are said to have a similar weight-loss effect when combined with yohimbe or something similar but you should do some research into it before just taking it to see if it is safest for you.
And as for the comment saying it was banned in 2003 below me they did release the ban for a short period of time in 2006 and allowed ephedra products back into the market. I know this because that's when I used it and purchased current ephedra based products. The indefinite ban was only issued a few months ago.

A: Once the diet pill companies removed ephedra (because ephedra was banned by the FDA), the weight loss properties of all the weight loss pills became basically useless.
If you want a diet pill that is actually effective with weight loss, get a prescription from your doctor. Any diet pill that doesn't need a prescription is basically worthless. Drugs that have a stimulant effect, like ephedra, cause weight loss. These sorts of drugs are prescription only in todays world.
What worked in all these weight loss pills like Stackers, etc, was the ephedra and only the ephedra. Without the ephedra, they are practically worthless. They are mostly filled with vitamins and minerals that aren't worth anywhere near what they cost. You might as well buy a mutivitamin/mineral supplement and call it a weight loss pill.
Once ephedra was banned by the FDA, all the companies that made ephedra containing pills had to do something. They weren't going to just go out of business and lose all that money. So they set out to convince people they had a successful substitute. You have to realize there is no substitute... it is a bunch of hype to get people to continue to buy their products.
Q: has anyone taken the trimspa diet pills? do they work?
I was just wondering if the trimspa diet pill work, and what over the counter diet pills do help, without the ephedra?
A: no my mom took them and they made her gain she exercised and everything and gain 20 pounds i would recomend leptopril its the generic of leptoprin and its alot cheaper its 30 dollars but its worth it im taking it and i have lost 5 pounds and its been 1 week. well good luck.
