Q: can anyone tell me why the ma huang or ephedra sinica i ordered to make tea says not for human consumption?
i ordered this ephedra sinica online and it came as 28grams of powdered foliage and i ordered it to make tea with it and when i got it, it said not for human consumption on it and i think its because it contains ephedra but don't know for sure can anyone tell me why
A: It's probably not grown and processed in a way which guarantees its safety to consume. It could have toxic fertilizers or something, or it might just be that it hasn't been inspected so they can't claim it's safe.
Also, ephedra is dangerous. A lot of people have died from complications when using it. Same thing for Ma Huang.
Q: where can i find stacker 3s with ephedra?
Its the only diet pill I've used, and I know it works VERY well when used appropriately. I used it a couple of years ago, wish I bought more bottles.
Anyways, where can I find it online? Don't care what it costs.
enough with the spam, geesh
A: Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com
Good luck and stay focused = )
Q: Why are there websites still selling ephedra? What happens if I order from them?
this online store specifically claims the product has ephedra... (not ephedra substitutes but the actual extract from this species)
http://www.1stallnutrition.com/mahuangephedra.html
According to wikipedia this herb is illegal to sell in the US. Is it a scam and the product doesn't really have the right species and is labeled incorrectly? Or is the website not really operated from the United States like their address says? Or are they operating illegally in the United States? Is there any legal or health risk involved in ordering from them? (No I wouldn't abuse it, my only concern is if it came from China)
Halfwords McGill: Was it this website?
http://www.dietpills-with-ephedra.com/pure-mahuang.html
A: I searched Google for Pure MaHuang Capsules By Premium Nutrition and found a site that listed the actual ingredients. It says it contains "10mg of naturally occurring ephedra alkaloids". There are a lot of alkaloids in ephedra, such as methylephedrine, norephedrine, ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and others. The only one that helps you lose weight is ephedrine. More than likely this company is selling MaHuang capsules that contain everything BUT ephedrine. Save your money. It's a scam. If it doesn't say "ephedrine HCL", then it isn't ephedrine.
Q: is ephedra still banned in the US? if so, is there anywhere to get it?
can you order it online?
A: You might have to go to Canada to smuggle in into US
Q: STRONGEST weight loss pill? Ephedra? Ephedrine?
I find a lot of pills online have Ephedrine in it. Isn't that supposed to be illegal?
What is the strongest weight loss pill I can buy?
A: You will be much healthier, feel better (and look better) without the pills. Excercise and a low fat, diet high in vegetables and fruits will get you in the shape you desire.
Good luck girl...;)

Q: Are You There, God? It's me, Cory Haim.?
I'm trying to get my girlfriend back by buying legal ephedra online, and need to know if anyone has cheat codes for WoW, that will help me unlock the Louisiana purchase essay that I need to turn in tomorrow. Will girls like me?
A: SWEET! I already like you! License to Drive ALL THE WAY BABY! Just call me Mercedes! LOL!
Q: I won't ask where, but is it possible to buy phentermine or ephedrine without prescription?
I was at a health store and the person behind the counter said I was able to get ephedra (or ephedrine? can't remember) by going to the local pharmacy and asking for it. Since it is supposed to be to help asthma and not for weight loss, is this the same ephedra that I would want for weight loss boost?
And I see there are sites online that sell phentermine, and some ephedra I suppose, but is this like the Hoodia scams? Are there a lot of scams on Ephedra/Phentermine and are these really sold online?
A: I used to take phentermine from an online pharmacy but stopped after a little over a year because I met my weight goal. It never had a problem with the quality, and now I use the same site to buy my sleeping medication, here, you can check it out for yourself.
Q: Diet pills that work?
I know they say that diet pills are bad for you but I really don't care. I am going to take the chance. There are so many to choose from! Has anybody tried any that worked? I need recomendations please! maybe something with ephedra? last I heard ephedra wasn't legal but then again...I dont know if it is or isn't cause I had seen a sign at a cart in the mall that said its back. Plus I typed it in online and there were a bunch to choose from
A: It makes me sad to see how many people are willing to risk their health (and possibly even their lives) just to achieve some fast.. yet temporary (trust me, it WILL be just temporary) weight loss.
You seem to be well aware of the dangers surrounding the use of "diet pills" in general.. yet you say yourself that you "don't care". Trust me dear, if you start down that road, trying to lose weight "the easy way" there will come a point, where you will very much care.
I am not trying to sound like some gripey girl, who doesn't want you to achieve your weight loss goals. Believe me, I absolutely want you (as well as everyone else) to achieve their goals, and to be healthy. But when it comes to "diet pills" I am speaking from personal expierence. I only want to help you see that you can lose the weight, but you really need to do it the right way, the healthy way, with healthy eating and exercise.
Sure, losing weight the healthy way probably will mean that the weight will come off significantly slower than if you were to take some of those pills.. But look at it this way.....
If you change your eating habits, and get in some regular exercise (even just walking everyday), you should see a loss of about 1-2 pounds per week. The weight will come off, slowly.. But trust me, slowly is absolutely the way to go, and there is a much better chance that the weight will stay off, for good if you do it the right way. It's about changing your lifestyle, not "dieting". It does work, and while it may take a bit longer.. in the end, the results will be more than worth it.
But....
If you were to decide to go the "diet pill" route, for an easy fix.. you will be so very disappointed, and possibly even in worse shape than you are now. True, the weight will just fall off with the pills (I know, I've been there).. but I can guarantee you, that the very day you stop taking the pills.. you will begin to see some very drastic changes to your body and your health.. and I don't mean for the good either.
Pills do not make you lose weight.. They basically kill your appetite, so you eat less. You can take them however long, and eat close to nothing for months.. but the very day you stop taking them, your appetite comes back full force, as if you had never taken the pills to begin with. The appetite change is not lasting.. not at all. That only continues while you are taking the pills, but will slowly become less effective, the longer you are on it. And well, to be honest.. however much weight you lose on the pills, expect to gain it all back (plus more) within a rapid amount of time.. I would say, maybe as little as 2 months. You won't even know what hit you, until it's too late. Trust me, you don't want to put yourself through that.
I have tried just about every pill on the market.. as well as prescripton. Sure, they seem to be good.. while you take them, and the weight is coming off. But taking a pill does not teach you the habits and the changes that you need in your life in order to achieve permanent weight loss.
I'm not sure how much weight you are trying to lose.. but I promise you this, if you try to do it with pills, you will very much regret it.. eventually. I know this, because I've been there.. believe me, I know all too well what it's like to lose a lot of weight, and then gain every bit of it back. It's devastating. I don't want you (or anyone else) to go through that. It is just not worth it.
Time is going to pass either way.. A year from now you can either be proud of yourself for all the changes you've made to get to a healthy weight.. or you can still be fighting to lose it, while searching for that "miracle pill". Trust me, the only "miracle" that there is when it comes to weight loss... is within yourself and your determination to be healthy.
You can lose weight, without the help of those pills, and in the end you will see how far you've come. So please, don't sabatoge yourself by falling into the diet pill trap.
I know you can do it! :)
Take care and God bless you!
Q: ECA stack?
I want to implement a stack into my workout and diet regime. Does anyone know of a reputable online site where I can purchase ephedra or a good premade stack formula? Before you give a smart-alec answer, I am aware of the side effects and I am exercising and trying to eat a more healthier diet. Thanks in advance.

Q: Phentermine for weight loss?
My sister has just admitted buying phentermine tablets online for weight loss. I can find loads of sites selling them but not much impartial info on what they do or side effects etc. Are they like ephedra? I doubt it's going to help her loose weight (no slimming pill does) but what exactly is she taking? Is it safe? Does anyone know a good medical website that outlines the risks (there's bound to be some)
A: Phentermine is an amphetamine and is supposed to be a controlled substance. I would be concerned about what your sister is getting in the mail.
It stimulates neuron bundles to release a particular group of neurotransmitters known as catecholamines; these include dopamine, epinephrine (also known as adrenalin), and norepinephrine (noradrenaline).
It has been approved by the FDA, but since being approved there have been few clinical studies. Perhaps you've heard of Phen-Fen which was banned a decade or so ago because it caused heart valve problems. The Phen part of the is Phentermine.
Taken under a doctors care, the drug should be safe.
Here is an article that may help:

Q: Fat Burning Pills, which work?
I did ask this question is heath & fitness with no answers ....When ephedra was available (Stackers) it worked very well for me but have not found anything since then. After doing some research online, ive found a couple of options and I'm hoping someone has tried the following: Orovo Detox, ZCA Stack or Xyphedra. If you have any information regarding these or anyother fat burner please advise.
A: I will tell you what worked for me, and you won't believe it, but it's B12. B12 is an amazing metabolism booster and it is NATURAL. I know you won't believe it, but I swear by it. I used to have this little belly pooch that wouldn't go away no matter what I did. I am very active, in fact during the spring, summer, and fall I backpack regularly and am very fit. I only weigh 97 lbs. But that pooch wouldn't go away! I started taking B12 every day and literally within a week it was going away and within a month it was GONE. Plus I had so much energy like never before!! Try it. Get the tablets that dissolve under your tongue for best effect. Good luck!

A: For all of the "quick and easy" weight loss diet pill suggestions, remember, if something sounds too good to be true... it probably is, particularly if you have to pay for it. Here are some aggressive but realistic ways to improve fitness.
On Yahoo!Answers I find certain questions being asked repeatedly which is simply a reflection of new people participating. A couple of common questions amount to "How do I lose weight," or more specifically, "How do I lose abdominal fat?" I have gotten very positive responses from my answers when I paused to reply (and now beginning to get "It works!" emails that are very gratifying. I like helping people)... so have recently decided to put a good solid answer on my Yahoo!360 Blog (September 10) that I can point people to. These are my thoughts as a physician and athlete.
Don't target losing more than about 2 lbs per week. If you try to lose faster, your body will go into "starvation mode" and get very stingy about burning calories while at the same time very efficient about storing any calories that you do provide. And it will make you feel awful.
There is no site specific way of losing fat... the old myth about working your abs to burn belly fat isn't true. To get rid of love handles, you need to lose overall fat. That happens with exercise and watching your diet. More on that below.
The most effective way to lose fat is aerobic exercise in the "moderate" fat-burning range, ideally first thing in the morning before you eat. When you wake your body is ready to burn fat and your levels of growth hormone are highest at that time. Later in the day it can take up to 30 minutes just to put your body into a fat-burning mode.
Another overlooked way to burn fat is by lifting weights. Skeletal muscle has very high caloric needs... almost twice that of adipose (fat) tissue. Put on a little muscle and you will burn calories all day even at rest. Be aware that skeletal muscle weighs more, so with this approach you may see your weight increasing while your body fat is melting away. Not realizing this often stresses folks who think they should be losing weight as a measure of fitness. Forget the scale, look in the mirror and you will be happy.
To lose a pound of fat, you need to eliminate about 3500 calories. You can do this by burning more with exercise or by modifying your diet to reduce intake. If you do a Google search on say, "swimming calories" you will quickly find a website with tables of calories burned for a given exercise. You can use such lists to estimate how many calories you are burning up with your routine.
For diet, keep a diary for a couple of weeks counting calories, grams of protein, and grams of fat intake. It is easy with online sources of nutritional information (type the name of the food and calories into the Google search engine) and packaging labels. That will let you quickly figure out where the fat is coming from in your diet.
Fat gives you 9 calories per gram. So take the number of grams of fat, multiply by 9, then calculate what percentage the fat calories are of your total daily calories. Restricting the calories from fat to about 20% of your total intake is ideal for a maintenance diet... that isn't overly restrictive. Of note, you need some fat in your diet. For instance, the body uses fat to produce hormones. Once you have a picture of how to modify your diet, you can drop the diary and just go back to it occasionally if you are wanting to tweek things further.
There is a subset of questions that goes further and asks about "How to get a six-pack?" The answer is the same. Six-packs are 20% abdominal exercise and 80% diet. There is one caveat... abdominal muscles will form in the position that you work them, so be certain to pull them tightly toward your spine while doing crunches, etc. Also, during most lifting, the "core is active" which means that you should be stabilizing with contracted abs then too. Fail to do this and the abs will form, but bulging outward and the result is not attractive.
If you are trying to build muscle as a way to lose fat, then you may need to increase total calories and specifically your protein intake. I target about 0.8 g of protein per pound of body weight each day when actively building. That is far more protein than most people need in their diets.

Q: Stacker 3 Users?
I bought Stacker 3 with Chitosan. I haven't taken them yet due to the mixed stories I read online. I am skeptical of the Anti-Stacker people because I wonder if they took them on an empty stomach...and had caffeine afterwards, and/or drank alcohol. I would like some feedback on people that did the proper instructions (Taking 1 a day at first...after eating, etc)
I have actually had 1 person I know taking the stacker 2 with ephedra and she has lost a quite bit of weight with it.
A: the kind with ephedra is more effective.....the stacker3 is good i like them...dont listen to that other idiot.
Q: Minor Blue Dragon???
I have been taking an herbal allergy medicine called "minor blue dragon" for about 2 days. When I went online to see if it would counteract with anything, I found that it contains "Ephedra sinica" which can cause cardiovascular problems and hypertension. It is considered a performance enhancer and is banned in competitave sports and can show up as Meth in a drug test. Yet, the chinese have used this herb for 5,000 years and regular users beleive it to be harmless in small quantities. An FDA ban on the herb was just lifted. Some side effects may include irritability, nervousness, dizziness, trembling, headache, vomiting, and hyperthermia. Should I stop taking it? I am leaning towards yes.
The medicine I am taking is chinese.
A: small quantities, yes.
using for thousands of years, yes.
how do you know how much is being put into your pills?
the chinese have been growing it and using it and KNOW how much they use in conjunction with other herbs. they have been teaching their young (but now the young people aren't interested in it any more) about the herbs and potions. they have 5,000 years of experience. how much experience do americans and uk people have in chinese medicine? NONE.
Q: Atkins and the ECA stack?
I'm currently on Atkins and have been for about two months now. I've lost some weight, but it seems that I have come to a stall, although I do believe I've lost a few more inches than what the scale indicates. I read online about the "ECA stack" which consists of taking a set dosage of ephedra, caffeine, and aspirin (all done in moderation.) I am NOT asking for people to preach to me about the dngers of ephedra, caffeine, or aspirin. I am asking if anyone has tried this and what their results were? I'm wanting to kick up my weight loss a bit, and also increases my energy. (That strong burst of energy from cutting carbs has recently started to deminish). Has anyone tried this and did you notice a difference in weight loss and energy? Thanks
A: i have taken the ECA stack two summers ago, last summers and 1 month prior to typing this up. this is a huge difference since before starting the ECA stack, i would lose an estimated 2% body fat a month by dieting and working out. however, in the month that i introduce ECA into my diet, i lost an estimated 4% body fat. i went from (and yes i log stuff)...
15%- February 4th
12% - March 3rd
10% - April 1st
5.8%- May 5th
There were few changes in my diet in May. I probably had 2-3 days of binge eating where I would eat a whole box of cereal or a bunch of rice but it didn't seem to affect my weight. however, keep in mind that the ECA only works if you're atleast moderately active while on it. it is pointless taking it and sit around expecting results... doesn't work that way.
if you do decide to take it, you have to gradually increase your dosages to 3 times a day, the first month i would take it was a 325 mg asprin, after that, i take the aspirin out of the regime. the brands i use are Bronkaid (25 mg ephedrine hcl), No-Doz (200 mg caffeine) and Bayers Safety Coated (325 mg aspirin).
however, since i'm an experienced user and a male weight lifting, my body can tolerate those doses. i would recommend you to take a baby aspirin instead, and only 1 dosage a day to adjust your tolerance, then gradually build up from there. don't take it 5-6 hours before you sleep (unless you like staring at the ceiling in your bed) and take it with some form of solid foods to help digestion.
some things to keep in mind while on ECA (and i'm speaking from experience)...
-drink A LOT of water when you do any form of working out! ECA makes you sweat A LOT since it puts your body in a permanent thermogenic state. you will most likely sweat even when you do something like taking a nap!
-don't do high intensity cardio... like running! your heartrate will jump through the roof and you will most likely collapse and die x_x
-once you ramp up the doses, take them 4-5 hours apart. you DO NOT want the doses to compliment eachother. it's not pleasant when you're doing something mundane like watching tv but can hear your heart beating through your chest.
-read the articles i gave you, but do some research of your own!
-i did not provide you with any of this information..
haha hope this helps.
