The labels on the ephedra products now will say something like Ephedra viridis, Mormon Tea or Ephedra extract. A: As long as they don't claim it's Ephedra (or a replacement for it) or don't claim that it'll give the same benefits as Ephedra, it's perfectly legal. The same thing applies to Red Yeast Rice that has naturally occuring Statins in it... you don't need a prescription for it like you would need for a Statin drug.
Supplements can be sold on the market if they have an active ingredient that can be used as a drug as long as they don't claim that it would be a replacement for the drug or list the quantity of that drug in it. Some call it a loophole with the FDA, but they can restrict drugs by the ingredient name, not things that naturally have the drug in it (because it's not that purified compound). I hope I helped!

Has any one seen studies on the adverse effects of ephedra. Aspirin kills a higher percentage of users than ephedra. The media sensationalizes things and then the government is forced into action.
A: You should not use with AKG with any products that contain Ephedra since they may act to vasoconstrict your blood vessels and thus reduce the benefit of AKG all together.
Dude, I know you may not want to hear this, but Ephedra can be hazardous to anybody's health, not just fat people. It has caused heart attacks and high blood pressure and has lead to bleeding in the brain in young fit people as well as fat.

A: You can still buy it in US just in smaller quantities. Regular sudafed, claritin d, all kinds of otc meds still contain it. The catch is, you can only buy so many milligrams per month due to DEA regulations. Try walgreens, walmart, s**t just about any place that sells meds. Just read the back of the box, it'll tell you. I'm hoping u are aware of the negatives but only people who take more than directed, those who have heart conditions or people who overstress their bodies have to worry about it. I've been taking it for years with no problems.

I can't get the ripped fuel with ephedra now, atleast I can't find it. My Doctor was aware I took in moderation. Can anyone tell me something to take that actually works and has worked with them with moderate excercise.
