A: There is no such thing as a "detox" juice. That is a fad term with no scientific meaning.

A: Apple cider vinegar ( 1 teaspoon) mixed with 6 ounces water, 2-3 times a day. Also, drink lots of water.

A: just don't eat only when your really hungry or if it's neccessary don't go to the store and buy chips don't think of it as a diet too.think of it as a life style choice.

1 env. GOOD SEASONS Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix for Fat Free Dressing
16 baby carrots, cut in half lengthwise
1 pkg. (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Boiled Ham, cut into strips
1 jar (20 oz.) CLAUSSEN Kosher Dill Mini Pickles, drained, cut in half lengthwise
-PREPARE salad dressing mix as directed on envelope. Place carrots in sealable plastic bag. Add dressing; seal bag. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally.
-REMOVE carrots from bag, reserving dressing. Wrap 1 ham strip around 1 pickle half and 1 carrot half; secure with toothpick. Repeat with remaining ham, pickles and carrots.
-SERVE with remaining dressing for dipping.

Sunburst Deviled Eggs
1/2 cup PHILADELPHIA Fat Free Cream Cheese
2 Tbsp. MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing
1 doz. hard-cooked eggs, cooled, peeled and cut lengthwise in half
1 cup shredded carrots
-MIX cream cheese, dressing and 4 of the egg yolks until well blended. Cover and refrigerate remaining egg yolks for another use. Add carrots; mix well.
-SPOON evenly into egg white halves; cover.
-REFRIGERATE at least 30 min. before serving.

-CUT each pepper lengthwise in half; remove and discard seeds. Cut each half lengthwise into 3 slices. Dry insides with paper towel.
-SPREAD Neufchatel cheese evenly onto pepper slices.
-CUT each ham slice lengthwise in half. Top each ham slice with filled pepper slice. Wrap ham around pepper; secure with toothpick.

Q: Is there any liquid diet recipes for cockateils?
My Cockateil broke her beak and now I am having a hard time getting her to eat anything I am not sure how long these guys can go without food and have syringed a goolash that I made for her but I am really worried that she is in too much pain even with painkillers and antibiotics, I need something anything that I can make until my bird formula gets in from the vet Please anyone help me out, with any suggestions.
A: I have a cockatiel that was attacted in the nest and lost all his beak. I hand reared him on baby raising mix then started him on bird pellets when he was 3 months old. He is now 18 months old, his beak has grown back a little but isn't long enough nor does it meet properly so he still can't eat seed. He takes the moistened pellets in his mouth, sucks on them untill he gets them soft enough to swallow. If you have been feeding your bird pellets, place a small amount into a shallow dish, pour on some hot water and allow to stand a few minutes. The pellets will soften and you will be able to crush and mix them into a paste, allow to cool, your bird will lick this mix up. You will need to change the food morning and night.
If you have been feeding your bird seed, fruit and vegies its not so easy. Try cooking and cooling some of his favouite veggies then mash them put teaspoons of these on a small flat dish. Things like sweetpotato, corn kernels and peas. Soak a piece of wholemeal bread in a little water, mash and put in a dish. Cook some oats in just water, some cooked brown rice. Don't worry, it sounds like this has just happened and you've done the right thing and taken her to the vet. Give her a day or two, to start feeling better. Cockatiels are clever birds, she'll learn to cope. They can do with out food for a couple of days, give her a teaspoon of water morning and night and if she's not eating in a few days talk to your vet. Good luck.

I have a 5 day weekend this weekend, and would like to prepare some entrees that I can freeze and reheat when I have no time (or energy) to cook. I need to eat higher protien/lower carb- and am so sick of dieting on grilled chicken and salad. Any great recipes you can share with me?

Q: I want to know how to ease into a vegetarian/vegan diet.... Any tips/recipes?
I recently found out that I have an allergy to most meat and dairy products (possibly the hormones that are used) and have been told by friends to either by organic meat or choose a vegetarian/vegan diet. Any quick snacks to ease the cravings for meat?
A: Portabello mushrooms with a bit of soy cheese melted on top. You can also stuff them with other veggies. But their consistency is like meat and they are quick to do in the oven. Also humus and pita or rice crackers.
Start by cutting out red meat, use soy milk (still very good) and start shopping in the ethnic food isles...lots of interesting ideas, especially east Indian food.

Q: NO carb diet recipes?
I was wanting to know if anyone had any good recipes for some NO carb dishes. I can only eat meat, cheese, and eggs. Any recipes can't have veggies, fruit, or bread in them, so I'm very limited, and very bored with my diet thus far.
A: EGGS BENEDICT - 4 Servings
4 eggs (2.4 grams of carbs)
Canadian Bacon
Sauce
1/2 cup butter
3 beaten egg yolks (0.9 grams of carbs)
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp lemon juice (1.3 grams of carbs)
Lightly grease skillet. Fill skillet half way with water. Bring water to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer. Break eggs into cup and carefully slide one at a time into water. Allow space for each egg. Simmer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, heat Canadian Bacon in skillet. Remove poached egg and serve with Canadian Bacon and Hollandaise Sauce.
For sauce, combine butter, egg yolks, water and lemon juice. Heat in a double boiler, stirring constantly.
Carb Count: Recipe Total 4.6 grams of carbs, Carbohydrates Per Serving 1.15 grams of carbs
LEMON FISH - 4 Servings *Low Fat*
4 white fish fillet
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (1.3 grams of carbs)
1 garlic clove, thinly sliced (0.9 grams of carbs)
4 tbsp whole milk ricotta cheese (1 gram of carbs)
4 tbsp plain yogurt (2.8 grams of carbs)
Preheat oven to 400 degree. Place fish in aluminum foil packet with oil, garlic & lemon juice. Place fish packet in oven. Mix the ricotta cheese with yogurt & stir in snipped
chives. When fish is done, remove & serve with
ricotta/yogurt sauce.
