Q: What are some good diets and diet plans for a fifteen year old girl?
I'm looking for a healthy diet.
I'm not one of those girls who's really obsessed with my wieght.
I just would like to tone my body and get in shape for the summer.
So i'm about 5'4" and 140lbs.
So can someone help me out with some HEALTHY diets and diet plans (:
please and thank you !
A: whoa, time to lose a bit right! I would say you could have a protein shake at dinner, and then regular meals (but at half the size) at breakfast and lunch. For snacks only eat fruit.
Q: Vegetarian Diet Plans HELP I am a vegetarian and need help finding a diet that works?
I am a vegetarian so it is hard for me to find actual diet plans. I was wondering has anyone tried nutisystem and do they have a vegetarian diet and does it work
A: I believe nutrisystem does have a veggie plan, but diet systems like that do not work in the long run. You need to learn how to create meals for yourself, not have some company pre-make them for you. You need a lifestyle change, not a diet.
Q: What are some good workouts/diet plans to do to lose 10-15 lbs in 4 weeks? (no diets pills, berries, tea, etc)?
I want to lose weight, but I cant waste any money on pills, berries, tea, etc. What are some good diet plans(calorie wise) and exercises to help me lose the weight? I need help soon!
A: I cannot guarantee anything, but it helped me to try one program. Try it, youe nothing to lose.
Diets have come and gone and a new one will be invented tomorrow promising you everything and delivering very little. That is because they are considered something you go on and then go off. In other words, they are temporary. That is not to say they are useless just that they will never give you continued success unless you change some things permanently.
What is a Diet Good for?
Diets have their place in your weight loss goals. First of all, they can be beneficial to jump starting your metabolism. Kind of a fire starter if you will. A jump-start will give you more energy and the initial weight loss can boost your self-confidence.
However, you will need to be ready to make some whole life changes if you want the results to be permanent. What are some changes you will need to make? Well a lot of that depends on you.
Lifestyle Changes- Fast Food
Are you a fast food junkie who eats out at least a couple of times per week? If so, you will find that you have plenty of company. Many people are so busy that the drive through is a perfect solution for dinner, lunch and even breakfast. The problem is many have no idea that one meal from a fast food restaurant can contain nearly a whole day's caloric intake.
One popular fast food joint has a burger that is 750 calories! The burger alone is a third of your recommended daily allowance; add the fries and a drink and you are done for the day.
Does this mean you can never have fast food again? Not necessarily, but it will mean that you have to be aware of what you are eating. Most fast food places have a website that contains all the nutritional information for the foods they serve. Check them out then make you a list of "safe" fast foods.
Exercise Changes
If you never move your body more than from the house to the car to work and back you will have a hard time losing weight and keeping it off. The human body functions best when there are periods of exercise. It increases mood stabilizers in the blood stream and best of all burns calories.
While you are on your diet, take the time to incorporate exercise into your life. You will feel better and increase your weight loss rates exponentially. Start with a walk, park further away from the store or your office. Then as you progress, find time to walk more or jog. Whatever you can comfortably fit in your schedule will be a great place to start.
Healthy Eating
This is absolutely the most important part of all. While you are on your chosen diet, you will want to become familiar with healthier food choices. Find ways to make your favorite foods better for you. Can you substitute ground turkey for ground beef in some recipes? Learn new recipes that include fresh fruits and vegetables.
You see your body needs several things to function at a healthy level. Proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals just to name a few. You also need certain fats to cushion joints and protect your vital organs. Create a lifestyle eating plan that brings all of these elements into play and you will feel amazing and best of all you will be able to lose weight and keep it off.
Check my source, it might help. Good luck!
Q: Any diet plans for someone with a thyroid condition?
I have a thyroid condition that messes with my weight and hormones a lot. I have been trying to find some sort of diet plan that goes well with someone that has graves disease. Any suggestions?
A: After extensive research, I have learned the right nutritition, proper exercise and life balance are very important for those of us with these conditions. I have found that if you eat a high fiber diet, limit dairy and carbs that my body seems to work better.
Also a mental and physical tune-up are imperative. Try to relax, meditate, try yoga or tai chi-whatever works for you to coordinate your mindset with your body.
I wanted to share with you a weightloss/nutritional lifestyle a girfriend of mine recently uncovered. A good friend of mine was recently diagnosed with hashimoto thyroitism. My girlfriend also wanted to lose weight and simply feel better. About three months ago, she implemented a customized nutritional support system that is personalized for each persons individual body. My girlfriend reports great results. She was really excited when she initially dropped a ton of weight initially, I believe somewhere around 20 pounds, before evening out to a weekly weight loss average of 3-5 pounds that is still continuing. Her goal was to loose somewhere around 60 pounds total.
The "puffiness" and "bloating" appearance she had experienced throughout her body but especially in her face, neck, arms and belly is finally gone! I don't recognize her anymore, she looks fabulous and years younger!
Another report coming from her that really intrigued me was the fact that she had boundless energy throughout the day without those "dips" in energy levels (she would crash mid day and that tired feeling would leave her craving caffeine). No more sleepless nights for her! I don't know about you, but I am one of those who can't rest well at night.
Her TSH levels are incredibly low! She reported that witihn a month of her new regimen her T3 and T4 levels lowered and remain steadily low. Her own endocrinologist was amazed at her rapid healing and the fact that she is getting better on a daily basis, her body is starting to repair itself. She has not relapsed once!
After learning of her quick results (she has only been on her exercise and nutritional support program less than three months), I will be trying this program as I have almost all of her symptoms, plus some!
PLEASE NOTE: To lose weight you must exercise and eat properly. Having a nutritional program will enhance your results but will not be a free pass to eat the foods that are not healthy or beneficial to your body--whether or not you have a thyroid condition! I highly reccomend seeking a comprehensive wellness lifestyle plan (mind, body and soul).
Sorry about my long post but I am so excited to meet others who may be having the same challenges and I feel so blessed to maybe have an answer that might work for you.
Let me know if any of this information helps as I know the symptoms with Graves can also be found with those that have Hashimoto.
Q: What Are Some Diet Plans that Are High in Protein?
I'd like to lose 14-15 pounds, but I'm also looking to alter my eating habits. I eat healthy, but I have difficulty getting that "full sensation," and thus always sneak in unnecessary snacks throughout the day. Aside from the junk food I sneak in and unnecessary calories, etc., the majority of what I eat is protein (salads, fruits, meat, eggs). I could probably just give the weight loss a try on my own, but I'd like the assistance of a diet plan to help me plan out my meals, at least until I lose the weight; By that time, I'll probably have become accustomed to the new lifestyle. What protein diets have you had success with, and recommend?
A: Atkins works the best for me and is quicker than reduced calorie.
Q: Are there any free diet websites the give you meal plans?
I was told by a doctor I have to go on a low fat diet. He gave me some pointers, but I think it would be easier if I had a meal plan. That way, I might actually stick to the diet. I have weight watchers points books, but that doesn't give you the fat value of food.
I want a free diet plan website, if anybody knows of one.
I'm not obsessed with food and have checked out ediets. The other website wasn't active in my area. Anybody else know of any???
A: try ediets.com they're pretty safe and reputable.
Q: How can I lose weight really fast? I need to lose 20+ pounds. Workouts are what I need more than diet plans.?
I need workouts that can help me lose weight quickly. Diets are ok, but I'm fairly young and I can't use my money on weightloss diet pills, acai berry, tea, etc etc. so can u help? I'm planning on working out every day so if you could help me out that would be great! PLZ!!!
A: EXERCISE, is key. I would start off with running/jogging every day.
This will get your blood flowing and boost your metablolism. You will also start to feel better and want to exercise.
Then try doing some crunches/sit ups this will help build some muscle.
Bicycling, jump roping, and cleaning(believe it or not) also will help you lose calories.
EATING HABITS, that's a major thing people forget about as thier livers progress. As a kid, you were able to eat fast food and chips all the time and not gain much weight. Now that you are getting older your body needs more care. Try eating lean meats or tofu, drinking lots of water, cutting out sodas (They are full of sugar that turns to fat, and no diet soda isn't okay, it's worst.), eat fruits and vegtables, and maybe try taking a multi-vitamin or something of the kind.
SLEEP, is also a contributing factor to weight gain, when you sleep, believe it or not, you lose weight, BUT this does not mean to sleep all day long because that's bad too.
EATING, is important, DO NOT starve yourself, it will lead to more problems and few pounds will be lost. You should eat 4-5 SMALL meals a day. This will help boost your immune system.
SNACKING is bad, but can be good depending on what you choose.
Pretzels, yogurt, trail mix, protien drink, smoothies, cereal, non-fat milk, fruit, vegtables, salad, and granola bars are just some of the many good snaking foods.
BREAKFAST, is the most important meal of your day, believe it or not, it's what starts your metabolism. So, eat breakfast everyday, but make good choices. These include: low-fat milk, juice, water, eggs, lean breakfast meats, waffles (in moderation), etc.
Hope this helps
Q: Can you loose 15 pounds in a month without one of those diet plans?
Loose 15 pounds in 1 month, without a diet plan that costs money.
A: It is possible, however, it's going to require that you have a high iron intake, as well as low fat with low calories, and if you are taking in high carbs, you need to be working out a lot. Drink plenty of water, and probably eat more vegetables than anything else. Oatmeal and lots of fibrous foods are very good for losing weight. Make sure you do lots of cardio, maybe a half hour per day.
Q: What are the best diet plans to loose weight?
i just posted about atkins ..and cos i love fruits im reallu wondering if il be good at it .
im 68 kilos. anfd 5'3.
AND I have twin boys 15 m/o to mother ..lol but i just need to loose the weight ... !!! i need some good diet plan ....!!
A: Keep it simple!
90% of you daily diet should be fruts, veggies, wholegrains and water.
The other 10% should be dairy products and poultry.
You still need to exercise until you break a sweat. After each work out, drink a protein shake immediately or at least 3o minutes after your workout!

Q: What are some diet plans that i can be slim in one month?
PLease tell me what should i eat on every meal. I don't even know what are the kinds of diet so i am asking more specific.
I am also exercising, what are some foods can i eat so i can't be fat?
A: Did it take you a month to get fat? If not, why do you expect to be thin in a month? :)
Appetite suppressant number one of any foodstuff is protein. It's low in calories and has a very high satisfaction rating. It also digests and thus releases glucogen (your body's fuel) very slowly into the bloodstream.
Don't cut carbs, you need to be eating complex carbs from vegetables, fullgrain bread, fullgrain pasta etc. but shift your diet towards being high-protein and lean.
Skimmed milk, beans, legumes, peas, poultry, fish, beef, lean pork. You may even want to consider a protein supplement for losing weight. Especially if you're exercising.
Most foods usually suggested for a diet are high in sugars (starch and fructose) and will not do much to supress the hormones that control hunger, or keep insulin levels stabile.
Q: Where can I find free onLine personal trainers or diet plans?
I am looking to lose a lot of weight and I was wondering if anyone knew of sites that give you meal plans/exercise routines etc at no cost. Thank you. Also if you yourself have any tips they would be greatly appreciated.
