Q: What is the best diet plan for a 22 yr old woman?
Hello all. I currently weigh 176 lbs and would like to loose 30 lbs. I REALLY dislike salad but I love all kinds of cooked vegetables. What is the best diet plan for me?
A: Hi! Diet is not all about salads, I hate them too, believe me.
Diets have come and gone and a new one will be invented tomorrow promising you everything and delivering very little. That is because they are considered something you go on and then go off. In other words, they are temporary. That is not to say they are useless just that they will never give you continued success unless you change some things permanently.
What is a Diet Good for?
Diets have their place in your weight loss goals. First of all, they can be beneficial to jump starting your metabolism. Kind of a fire starter if you will. A jump-start will give you more energy and the initial weight loss can boost your self-confidence.
However, you will need to be ready to make some whole life changes if you want the results to be permanent. What are some changes you will need to make? Well a lot of that depends on you.
Lifestyle Changes- Fast Food
Are you a fast food junkie who eats out at least a couple of times per week? If so, you will find that you have plenty of company. Many people are so busy that the drive through is a perfect solution for dinner, lunch and even breakfast. The problem is many have no idea that one meal from a fast food restaurant can contain nearly a whole day's caloric intake.
One popular fast food joint has a burger that is 750 calories! The burger alone is a third of your recommended daily allowance; add the fries and a drink and you are done for the day.
Does this mean you can never have fast food again? Not necessarily, but it will mean that you have to be aware of what you are eating. Most fast food places have a website that contains all the nutritional information for the foods they serve. Check them out then make you a list of "safe" fast foods.
Exercise Changes
If you never move your body more than from the house to the car to work and back you will have a hard time losing weight and keeping it off. The human body functions best when there are periods of exercise. It increases mood stabilizers in the blood stream and best of all burns calories.
While you are on your diet, take the time to incorporate exercise into your life. You will feel better and increase your weight loss rates exponentially. Start with a walk, park further away from the store or your office. Then as you progress, find time to walk more or jog. Whatever you can comfortably fit in your schedule will be a great place to start.
Healthy Eating
This is absolutely the most important part of all. While you are on your chosen diet, you will want to become familiar with healthier food choices. Find ways to make your favorite foods better for you. Can you substitute ground turkey for ground beef in some recipes? Learn new recipes that include fresh fruits and vegetables.
You see your body needs several things to function at a healthy level. Proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals just to name a few. You also need certain fats to cushion joints and protect your vital organs. Create a lifestyle eating plan that brings all of these elements into play and you will feel amazing and best of all you will be able to lose weight and keep it off.

Q: Is it necessary to follow the P90X diet plan to get results?
I am just starting the P90X classic plan for the purpose of getting toned before bikini season. I am not really interested in losing weight and already eat relatively healthy. I went through the diet plan and discovered that I already eat a lot of the suggested foods on a regular basis (oatmeal, chicken breasts, eggs (w/yolk), skim milk, yogurt, etc). Does anyone know if I will still see great results with the workouts without strictly following the diet plan?
A: Yes you can get great results with the workouts without following the diet, but your results could be much better with the diet.
Remember, weight loss/fitness is about 60% diet and 40% exercise!
Q: Does anyone know of a good lacto-ovo vegetarian diet plan to stay in shape?
I have been on a lacto-ovo vegetarian diet since last May; but I have actually gained wait ever since I stopped eating meat. Does anyone know of a healthy diet plan? I would also like to start working out and was wondering which plan would be the most appropriate. Thanks.
A: You've probably gained weight as a result of eating more carbs than you was before, and not burning them off, make sure you balance and replace the protein from meat with eggs and other protein such as Quorn or nut roasts etc, then once you start your Gym programme be sure to try other protein supplements AFTER your workout - such as wholegrain salads, pulses, even soya milk has more protein than cows milk, and could help to repair that muscle tissue... Iron is essential too, so if you can cope with spinach, please do so, and again soya products are a good source of Iron for the blood.
Q: Where can I find a food diet plan for a 13 year old?
I was wondering that because I really need to lose weight, and I have been exercising, but I have no idea what to eat, and I don't like eating veggies by itself.
Any ideas, where I can find some good recipies or even a diet plan for a 13 yr old wanting to lose weight?
I'm 158 cm, and weight 61kg.
Please Help.
A: Well, you're only 13 so you don't want to "diet" You will want to change your lifestyle while keeping in mind your body will continue changing for the next 5 years or so! First, you need to be active! Your 13, join some sports, ride your bike, go running, swimming, walking a dog (if you don't have one, offer to walk your neighbors!) playing outside is the best way to lose weight!
Also, for eating, cut back on high sugar foods, fried foods, soda, etc, eat more vegetables, fruits, nuts, lean meats (chicken, turkey, fish etc). For snacks you can eat things like string cheese, fruit, sugar free jello or sugar free pudding, a pickle... etc.
Make sure to try to eat 5-6 times a day, (every 3 hours or so),small meals and snacks, this will boost your metabolism and keep it burning fat all day.
Here are some easy, healthy low calorie snack and drink idea's that you probably have all the ingredients for in your kitchen!

Hope this helps get you started, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to stick with it! Good luck!

Q: Can you suggest a scheduled diet plan for me?
Im 15 weigh 146 pounds and am 175cm. I will be working out 6 days a weak in the gym and 7 days cardio every week for 6 weeks over the holidays. Im expecting to do around 40 mins cardio and 20 to 30 mins in the gym. I plan on drinking lots of water in the morning. I plan on staying on my feet all day! Can you suggest a scheduled diet plan for me?
A: First off make sure your not over training as then your body does not have enough rest to repair and recover. Not only will you burn out but your body will start breaking down muscle.
This is a sample recipe in one of my fitness books. Make sure you get enough protein 1 gram to 1 lb of body fat is usually a good amount.
8am:
1 chicken breast (8 ounce), 1 cup of steamed brown rice, 1 small salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
11am:
turkey sandwich with whole wheat bread (8 ounces of lean turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, mustard) (NO cheese or mayo).
2pm:
8 ounces of top round steak, 1 cup of broccoli, 1 cup of non-fat cottage cheese
5pm:
egg white omelet (8 egg whites, mushrooms), 2 pieces of whole wheat toast (NO butter)
8pm:
8 ounces of fish (salmon, catfish, trout, halibut, etc.), 2 cups steamed zucchini, 1 small salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing
good luck
Q: How can I fit the 3 hour diet plan into my life?
I go on the school bus at 8ish
First break is at 11
Lunch at 12.30
Get out of school and on the school bus at 3ish.
Go bed at ninish.
The 3 hour diet plan is basically eating every 3 hours. How can I fit it into my life?
A: Just have a banana or a piece of fruit, or a healthy sandwich. easy.
But I wouldn't worry too much about specific hours to eat or fad diets.
If you really want to lose weight and have a healthy body then you need to do two things. Just two things. They are called EATING HEALTHY AND EXCERCISE!!!!!!!
First of all you have to eat a healthy diet. This doesn't mean go on a crappy fad diet or starve yourself!!! It means that you make sure you eat 4 or even 5 small to medium meals a day. It doesn't have to be specifically 3 hours apart as long as they are relatively regular. Each meal, apart from breakfast, (preferably fibre rich with fruit) should have a combination of protien (chicken/fish/soya etc), carbohydrates (pasta/rice/potatoes/etc), and vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (fresh fruit and veg). There are many easy ways to incorporate all these into every meal. This also doesn't mean you can never have pizza/takeaway/chocolate/etc, just save them for the occassional treat.
Secondly you need to EXCERCISE. Cardio excercise is anything that will get you out of breath, your heart rate pumping and you sweating (running, swimming, cycling, etc) and is necessary for burning calories, shedding body fat and improving your overall fitness levels. Strength training basicaly improves the muscles and tones your body, this comes from weight training, core training (sit ups/planks/etc), stretching (such as yoga) and dynamic training. This is necessary to keep your body strong and supple and will also help you lose weight and tone up.
This is only an extremely brief overview, but both of these are necessary to lose weight healthily, keep it off, and have a strong healthy body.
Q: What is a good diet plan if i want to lose 10 pounds in 2 months?
Im 14 years old
I go to the gym six days a week
i do 30 minutes of cardio (running, jogging)
i do situps and crunces, like about 30 a day
what is a good diet plan to go with this?
A: Try a calorie shifting diet, which works by getting you to eat the right food at specific times of the day. Then by rotating it so that your metabolism never gets used to any routine.
It may be hard to get yourself to carry out the Calorie Shifting method because you will need to create an expert menu.
All the best!
Q: What is the best diet plan on the internet?
I'm a 38 year old woman that exercises pretty regularly, but have such a hard time losing weight...anyone know of a great diet plan on the internet I could try?
A: The *BEST* advice I can give you as I've had issues with my own weight for many years is not to try out any type of fad diet...they just don't work for the long-term and can seriously hurt you in the end.

Do yourself a favor and try it out! Change your life for the better like I and so many others did before you...good luck and I hope you the very best!

SOME TIPS
I have studied exercising and weight-loss for fifteen years and the number one misconception is that you weight too much. Dont stop reading if you want a hot body. You are not trying to loose weight you are trying to loose fat . There is a big difference, I no girls that are 5ft weight 110 and have hot bodies. This is because they have muscle. So if you want to look better gain muscle and burn fat.
OK now ill explain how:
Now one day eat normally as you would and count the calories you ate. If you do not no the amount of calories of a cartain food look it up.
Lets say you ate 2,000 calories
the next day 1950
then 1900
then 1850
then1800
cut it down slowly or else youll not loose weight and even if you do youll gain the weight back.
But cutting down on calories dont cut it take sugary and fatty substances out of your diet.
no chips
no soda
no cake .....
Also increase the protein intake. Eat proteins with low fat like chicken, fish, egg whites, whey protein shakes are good. Most of all eat your fruits and vegetables . Do not eat to late because it is a fact that you do not burn many calories sleeping so you gain weight by eating before you sleep. Eat small frequent meals. Meaning eat 5 times a day of small meals example:
when you wake up have a fruit (maby apple) and oatmeal
then 2-3 hours later
another samll meal and so on the best meal items,
eggs,
protein shake,
gereen vegetables (salads) remember lots of dieters eat salad but ruin it by putting dressing. No dressing its not healthy.
yogurt
orange juice (healthy but no more than 1 glass daily)
if you drink milk do not drink whole milk. fat reduced milk
brown rice- no white rice
beans...
high protein low carb's. But do not be afriad of all carbs you need carbs like oatmeal, brown rice, pasta... just dont overload
Also remember to walk 10 minutes after breakfast!!!
You still have not done enought to loose weight
You must EXERCISE!!!!
ok i reccomend 10 minutes of walking every day after breakfast.
and do extra exercises 5 days a week. This includes cardio. Most people think they can loose weight with just dieting. Nope you must do 30+ min cardio 5 days weekly
Its is important to vary what you do and not let your body get too used to the exercises,
Things to do for cardio:
walk (fast)
jog
sprint
cycling
swimming
running stairs
jumpring jacks
jump ropes
play sports (maby join a track team)
I no a lot of girls think theyll become manly by working out but it shapes the body and maked you look better.
So i reccomend working out 3- 4 days a week. This will tighten your buttox and chest. help create a flat stomach and get rid of flab on the arms and legs.
Please workout--
I reccomend working out no longer than 50 min 4 days a week. The reason 50 min is because when you lift weights after 50 minutes your body breaks down muscle for energy instead of fat so i usually go 45 min
my schedule:
thursday- chest and back
friday- abs
saturday- legs
sunday- arms
Follow every thing i said and youll loose weight. It is a slow process and unlike dieting these effects will be life- term without having to starve your self all you have to do is eat healthy.
Stay motivated and even when you feel you cant loose weight and get muscle you can its a slow process.
So it may take over a few months maby even a year.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS FALL FOR THOSE FAKE COMMERCIALS ABOUT LOOSING 10 POUNDS IN A WEEK OR WORK HARD UNTIL YOU ACHIEVE THE BODY YOU WANT.
-- REMEMBER THE CHOICE IS YOURS GOOD LUCK
Q: Where can I find a vegetarian diet plan for athletes?
I am a competitive figure skater and I skate 3-4 hours a day five days a week. I also do an hour and a half of off ice strength and cardio exercises, three times per week. In addition I do 3 hours of modern and ballet classes per week.
I am in fairly good shape right now but would really love to lose a few pounds so that I look better on the ice and you can really see my muscles.
Since becoming a vegetarian I feel like I have been having trouble eating as healthy as I did before. I am eating more ice cream and sweets. I also use to eat fish but haven't been eatting it for one month. I would be willing to eat fish again if it will allow me to lose body fat. Also, my doctor said it would be good for me to eat fish because my blood is showing signs of having some sort of problem. I would really love to find a diet plan that I can stick to and lose weight. If anyone has any books, websites or personal suggestions that would be fantastic. Thanks for any help!

Q: what is a diet plan or tips with good results?
do you have any good tips or a diet plan that works? what are the foods you eat? what do you do?
A: I've recently lost 65lbs since April 9 doing the following:
Do not eat over 2000 calories. Make your calories count. 2000 is a lot believe it or not. I kept my food intake as fat free as possible. And here is the kicker for true success...get a diet journal and write what you eat down. You'll be amazed of how easy it is.
Staple foods with this plan is a lot of chicken breast. Vegetables in the frozen section have a lot to offer that are very low calorie. Snack items...sugar free jello gelatin, sugar free jello pudding. Fresh fruit. 100 calorie snack packs make it easy to keep track.
I lost 21lbs my first month by doing the above and I did not exercise at all. Your weight loss does slow down after this initial period so incorporating some sort of physical activity is essential if you really want to kick it up a notch.
Hang in there and don't give up. Good luck
Q: What is the best diet plan for a 16 year old who is 200 lb.?
This is my best friend and I love her like a sister. But every time I turn around she is always telling me how fat she is. Saying that she doesn't care what others think of her so she doesn't want to lose weight. It is always something about how she wants to lose weight then says I don't care anymore. I mean I don't know what to do to get her to be happy with herself. What is the best diet plan for her to have without starving herself. I mean healthy foods that doesn't seem too hard to follow. I need help!!!! She is willing to lose weight and she just needs determination. She has a hard time finding clothes in this state and she wears a size 20W but can't find her length she is short say about 5 2".Now she is tired of looking for clothes and she wants to do something about her weight. Please be praying to God for her I will also do the same.
A: Wow, I am 24 and I only weight like 150lbs.....
I suggest running, a friend of mine was about 400lbs @ age 27 or so. He ran for 3 months straight 1 hour a day and lost the weight FAST. I didn't talk to him for 2 months and I ran into him one day. I didn't even know it was him!....
He was using a treadmill on his lunch at work, but, at 16 I would just run around the block.
To lose that type of weight she is going to have to put fourth effort, unfortunatly I have little faith in diets, but I also have no experience with diets.
The only thing I've seen work, is work. Running is best for weight loss.
Q: What is the best diet plan out there for women?
Your opinion wat is the best diet plan out there for a women trying too loose weight.
A: Fat Loss 4 Idiots is a unique and highly popular weight loss programme. Formerly known as weight loss 4 idiots, this diet has been used by tens of thousands of men and women all around the world, from the United States through Europe to the Far East. Many people have reported excellent results with this diet and the success rate is estimated to be over 95%.
One of the key questions you should ask yourself when it comes to picking out a diet plan which will work for you is whether or not you'll be able to use it. Many diet plans are so difficult to pursue that people fail in them by the thousands. These diet set up ridiculous rules, either starving the people who use them or forcing them to eat strange foods which are so difficult an expensive to get that they can't last at it for a long time.
Is Fat Loss 4 Idiots so easy to use to be known as the Diet 4 Idiots?
Fat Loss 4 Idiots gives you 2 things: A diet ebook and a menu generator software. The more important of the 2 is the menu generator. It works by asking you to select your favorite food and it give you an 11 day menu plan with 4 meals a day. It does so automatically. All you need to do is follow the menu plan and drink a lot of water each day. It's as easy as that. Even an Idiot could do it. That's why they call it Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Since all the meals are made out of regular food, it's no problem cooking or buyingthem for yourself. Because you eat 4 meals a day you never starve and it's easy to stick to for a long time.
The diet works by cycling the calories you eat all the time (better known as the Shifting Calories Method). This keeps your metabolism high and has you burning up calories at a fast pace.
You will need to stick to the menu for this to work as well as it should, but it's very easy. It is indeed a diet 4 idiots.
Check it out, it's in my source...
