Q: What happens if a girl eats one of those boy diet foods?
I noticed how those commericals for the male versions of those diet foods have much more tastier looking dishes then the female versions xD
Anyway,what happens if that happens?
:) Okay.
I was just wondering, nothing will happen.
A: Nothing much, it's just food. Just watch your calorie count as with any foods.
Q: What are some healthy foods and meals for when you're on a diet?

A: Me and my husband have lost 42 lbs between the 2 of us already. I am using the menus and recipes from this site:

Q: the absolute best diet foods?
I'm planning on losing about 25 lbs. over the course of about 3 months, give or take a few days. I'm completely dedicated to whatever it takes, exercising, etc. I just need tips on the absolute best foods to eat while I diet to lose weight the most efficiently. I know all that stuff about fiber, etc. I just need the actual names of the best foods for me to eat up to 1000-1200 calories a day. I know, I know, I should be getting at least 1200 blah blah and it's not healthy for only 1000 colories or your body thinks you're starving it-- tell me something I don't know: what are the absolute best foods for a diet to lose about 10 pounds each month.
A: Various studies have shown that a high fiber - low fat diet is the best for weight loss. To simplify it, a vegetarian diet. Almost all plant based foods are high fiber and low fat, while animal foods are higher in fat and NO fiber. (Muscle fibers of an animal do not count as dietary fiber.)
If it grown out of the dirt and does not move on its own or have a mother, then you can eat it, but avoid highly processed foods such as white bread, rice and pasta. Also avoid everything that came from or that was part of an animal.
I know you want a list of particular items, but it will be better to get a variety so that you avoid becoming nutritionally unbalanced. Most people will say that you must get your proteins from an animal, but all plant foods contain at least a little bit of protein, and the body can make its own protein from the amino acids in fruits, vegetables, grains and nuts.
A couple of other things. Do not snack between regular meals. Do not drink sodas, sports drinks or fruit juices, these are the source of the greatest number of empty calories and are associated with weight gain. Do not use diet sodas, they also cuntribute to weight gain. Drink only water between your meals (about 3 quarts a day), but not with your meals; this will slow your digestion. And eat two meals a day - breakfast and lunch.
The people that come to the facility where I work lose an average of 4 pounds a week. The weight loss is faster when you also exercise regularly.
This really works for the patients that I work with, and it is the way I live.
Q: What diet foods should I buy today?
I need to start eating some diet snacks or something. What are some good things like special K bars and slimfast and stuff like that?
what foods should i stay away from?
A: Don't buy 'diet food'!!!! It puts you into a diet frame of mind....
Just buy whole, healthy foods! Fresh fruits and veggies are a GREAT snack while losing weight!!! If you need a treat, go for a little dark chocolate. Slim fast bars are pure JUNK and will do you no good :)

Q: I'm thinking of starting a raw food diet. Any place where i can get a menu on what kind of foods to eat?
I saw on a tv show that by eating raw foods you can lose weight but stay healthy. I'm afraid of gaining weight but i need to be healthier what kind of foods should i eat for a raw food diet?
BREAKFAST?
LUNCH?
DINNER?
A: Hey there!
You are SURE *NOT* to gain any weight on a raw food diet - that much is clear. In fact, when started it with the purpose of being healthier, I lost about 7lbs within the first 10 days without wanting to; it is pretty much guaranteed that you will lose weight when you start, and after a while it normalizes – you get to a weight that is healthy for your body.
I had started with raw food because I came across a book written by a guy who pretty much healed himself from multiple sclerosis and what not by "abiding by the laws of nature" - he did not technically "invent" the method, just used it, and completely regained his health. So he writes about why certain foods are good or bad for us, a ton of info about various fads etc., a LOT of practical info (e.g., you should eat fruit first before you eat anything else: it gets digested in the small intestines, while when you eat fruit “for desert”, it ends up on top of all the other food you just ate being digested by the stomach, and then this fruit is just sitting there fermenting and further poisoning the body instead of giving you any vitamins, enzymes or benefits – so much for “fruit doesn’t agree with me” - it would if you knew how to eat it!!!), and in the end of the book he had suggestions about what to eat - because let me tell ya, when you just start, it seems there is nothing to eat!! LOL. The truth is, there is so much, because there are about 300 varieties of fruit alone, and then there are vegetables, and you can prepare them in a variety of ways... smoothies and salads and raw soups being just “a tip of the iceberg”…
Another cool thing about raw food is that you don’t have to cook it – which saves you a ton of time… not to mention that you just feel MUCH better, your skin clears up, weird discharges disappear, and you have a lot more energy that is freed up because your body doesn’t need to digest crap we usually put into it…
Basically, I would recommend raw food or at least a partially raw food diet to anybody who wants to lose weight and especially to people who want to improve their health or stay healthy. And that book is a great way to start: “A Way Out” – at least it immensely helped me, my boyfriend and several of my friends.
Good luck! :-)
Q: What are some good diet foods or plans?
I am a teen girl who wants to lose about 40 lbs.
I already have a great exercise plan chosen but I am having some trouble in the food department. I go to school everyday and the lunch there is nasty and unhealthy. Does anyone know a good meal I could take to school? What are some easy and healthy foods for breakfast, lunch, after school, snack, and dinner?
A: You say you have a great exercise plan chosen so just make sure it is a program which progresses until at least 30 minutes or more per day is achieved on most or all days of the week.
Breakfast could consist of cottage cheese and pineapple, natural peanut butter toast on multi-grain bread, scrambled eggs with low-fat cheddar cheese and onions, mushrooms and green or red peppers, or oatmeal with fruit mixed in. I prefer the low sugar variety for the instant but the old fashioned is better for you if you have time.
As for healthy food to take to school, for snacks you can take things like almonds, apple slices, baby carrot sticks, or low-fat cheese sticks. Moderation is the key here, i.e. 1/2 to 1 oz of almonds equals one snack.
For lunch, natural peanut butter and banana sandwiches, ham & turkey wraps with low fat cheese and a light dressing.
For dinner you can make an enchilada using multi-grain tortillas, grilled chicken, onions, red peppers, and spinach, roll them up, top with your favorite salsa and low fat cheddar cheese and bake at 350 until the cheese melts, about 15-20 minutes, enjoy!
Q: What are good diet foods/dishes?
What are good diet foods/dishes that are low or no (fat, sugar, carbs and calories) and have a lot of fiber & protein, that are cheap or easy to make and will help me lose weight?
A: eat alot of nuts and water
Q: What are some harmful chemicals in diet foods?
As in the foods that the manufacturers promise that people will loose weight by eating them.
A: One of the most dangerous chemicals in diet foods is Aspartame (Nutrasweet). A lot of people are affected by Nutrasweet, yet the manufacturers keep pumping that stuff into everything -- it's almost impossible to find a low-cal yogurt without it! Sucralose is supposedly safer, but I avoid the stuff anyway. It's best to just eat natural, healthy foods in reasonable quantities -- fresh fruits and vegetables and lean meats.
Q: is it true that diet foods especially diet sodas cause brain tumors?
I know how bad diet sodas are but is it that bad?
A: It doesn't cause brain tumors. There have been some tests thought that show negative effects on your weight. Some people drink lots of diet soda because it has zero calories. It still spikes your blood sugar level and crashes later. This leads to increase eating with some people.
Some people advocate a diet similar to ones eaten by our ancestors with the thinking no chemicals will lead to no cancer. I think those people just never got the chance to get old enough to get cancer. (or they didn't know what killed them)
Q: Good healthy diet foods to buy?
This weekend I am going shopping with my dad. What are good healthy diet foods I can buy to loose weight and exercise? List them all if you can.
A: If by diet foods you're talking about things like SlimFast, then none of them are healthy. Some have transfats in them and others are chock full of artificial flavoring. Others are stuffed with sugar. However, there are more natural foods that are healthy.

Q: What are some good diet foods?
What are some good, healthy, low-fat diet foods that I should eat since I'm dieting?
Also I haven't been too energetic lately since I've been getting up early and going to bed late due to exercising so what are some foods/drinks that are low in calories that I should drink to have energy (I don't want to try energy drinks and my parents dont like me to drink coffee)
Thank you all!
A: green tea
Q: What are some good diet foods for breakfast?
It needs to be something I can eat on the go. I have been eating a whole wheat bagel and a banana but I am kind of getting bored with eating that everyday for breakfast. Any ideas?
A: Try cutting up fresh fruit at night. Put it in a blender with fat-free yogurt, juice, and flaxseed. Pop it in the fridge. The next morning, blend for a minute and throw in a to-go cup. Have with whole wheat crackers w/ 1 tbls peanut butter for a balanced breakfast. Or, make a batch of muffins (low fat ones, not a glorified cupcake!), and freeze some. At night, throw a frozen one in the fridge to thaw. By morning, it should be thawed, and you can just warm it in the microwave!
